Final Exams and Coursework
As a reminder, students affected by Saturday’s events can ask their instructors for permission to take an exam later in the exam period. Responses to these requests are at the instructor’s discretion. In keeping with University policy, instructors may permit a student to take an exam at another time, including on May 8, a reading day. Rescheduled exams must be completed within the final exam schedule: the last exam block is May 10, 2:00-5:00 p.m.

In rare cases, students may be granted an incomplete and allowed to take the exam or submit other remaining work after the final exam period. Students should review the implications of an incomplete for their specific program and situation. Note that for undergraduate students, an incomplete grade will become an 'F' thirty days after the grading deadline if outstanding coursework is not completed and graded. For more information, consult the Undergraduate Record

The schools of Medicine, Law, and Graduate Business maintain school-specific policies regarding final examinations. Students in those schools should consult their school’s section of the Graduate Record for information about those policies and procedures.
